Oct 1, 2015 | in.business

Meleghy Automotive Group has taken another step towards internationalization. At the end of September in 2015 the plant Rubí Czech, s.r.o. in the Czech Republic was taken over by the Spanish company group IPM. Brandys Nad Labem is located between Mlada Boleslav and Prague.

The plant currently employs around 50 people and is focused on the production of automotive welding assemblies on around 10,000 m² of production and logistics space. It will be supplied with press parts from the Meleghy Automotive locations in the future. The work is based on the technologies of spot welding, MIG / MAG welding but also soldering and gluing. It is supported by the other production sites of the company group. With this plant, the company group is also improving its presence in the Eastern European markets and thus its proximity to its customers.

The sale process was conducted in a constructive manner between the two parties and accompanied by high professionalism and commitment by Baker Tilly Spain and Albia Capital.
