Meleghy Automotive improves its energy efficiency in its plant in Abrera. Therefore, the equipment of the pumping system was reformed, and the combustion system of the KTL furnace was improved. Another step on the company’s sustainability journey. The project has achieved an energy saving of 63.25 toe/year.
In order to reduce energy consumption, the aim of the project was to optimize the KTL incinerator and the recirculation chambers of the KTL furnace, together with the remodeling of the pumping system in the painting chain process.
This project has been subsidized by the “Programme of aid for energy efficiency actions in SMEs and large companies in the industrial sector” managed by the Catalan Energy Institute.
