An initiative of “Kreisschulratsrat Erzgebirgskreis” enabled pupils to participate in a student competition. Under the motto “A heart for ERZ – together strong!” were able to submit photos and videos that promote the Erzgebirge and thereby increase the sense of homeland among young people and young adults. Priority was given to the project via the new media. 15 teams have contributed and showed – your heart for ERZ.
For us, Meleghy Automotive Bernsbach GmbH it was clear that we would like to support this creative and home-connected project, ultimately also to show the future prospects for a future career in our region.
On June the 24th in 2015 the winners were announced and honored at an evaluation event. Participant teams, supporters and sponsors of the competition as well as representatives of the old media were welcomed.
The school group “De Bargmanner”, the grade 11 of the Matthes-Enderlein-Gymnasium Zwönitz, was awarded the 2nd place in the category “Video” for your contribution “Glück Auf, der Steiger kommt”. The young and creative talents were delighted by a symbolic check worth 200 €, which was handed over by our managing director, Mr. Robert Rudolph.
In addition to local students, an Italian exchange student with Japanese roots could look forward to the award. His most beautiful experiences of the region were accompanied by his pianoforte play in the video.
