Meleghy Automotive, a leading global systems partner to the international automotive industry, announces the sale of its GRP (glass fiber reinforced plastic) business to the Vollmann Group.
At the turn of 2022, the entire GRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic) business, including the office buildings and facilities below the unit’s street, will be sold to the Vollmann Group. The employees belonging to the GRP business will keep their jobs and transfer to the new company.
The transaction is an important step in the implementation of Meleghy Automotive’s strategy to focus its business on and further expand its core technologies of forming, joining and surface treatment. Meleghy Automotive is very pleased with the conclusion of the sale with Vollmann, which also supports its strategic footprint with the purchase of the GRP business.
