As part of the succession transformation process at Meleghy Automotive, a new six-member leadership team has been put together. One department established for this purpose is “Operations and Czech Republic”. In the future, this will be the responsibility of our new “Group Operations Director / General Manager Czech Republic”. Today, we are pleased to introduce Raúl Pérez (45), who has been serving in this position since November 2021.
Pérez has already been working for Meleghy Automotive in the Czech Republic as General Manager Czech since the acquisition of Lahnwerk Rubi in 2015. He has contributed a lot to the company’s development as plant manager and part of the management team, as well as overseeing cross-plant projects. He undoubtedly brings a good eye for ensuring smooth production processes.
“One challenge I see in this new position, besides learning another foreign language for better communication, is to learn a lot from everyone to find the best processes and procedures for our plants and further increase our efficiency and effectiveness,” Pérez tells us in anticipation of the new tasks.
As a result, he will be responsible for ensuring smooth process flows across all plants and will continue to manage the Czech plants. “The last few years and larger projects showed us that Raúl already often took on consulting activities in the cross-company operations business in addition to his job as plant manager. The experience he brings is an asset for us,” said Dr. Thomas Werle (COO/CTO).
