This week we would like to introduce the next member of the new leadership team of Meleghy Automotive, which has been established in the course of the strategic succession planning.
Oscar González (50) will be responsible for “Strategy and Spain”. We are pleased to introduce Oscar González as our new “Group Strategy Director / General Manager Spain”. González has already been working for Meleghy Automotive in Spain as General Manager Spain since the acquisition of Lahnwerk Rubi in 2015. He has a lot of strategic experience in the automotive industry and contributes to the expansion of our plants in Spain through his Spanish expertise.
González looks forward to his role, “The biggest challenge is to coordinate the different areas of the group for the implementation of our strategy, so that we can strengthen our competitiveness and future development. Contributing side by side in the management team and with the Group’s employees to our common success is what I look forward to most.”

The successor leadership structure at Meleghy Automotive is taking shape. As previously announced, the management of Meleghy Automotive has launched a transformation process for strategic succession management in recent months. A first step was the definition of a six-member leadership team that will be strategically prepared to lead the company in the coming years. The Leadership Team has been actively operating since November 2021. This week we introduced you to the first portfolio.
